Crow Creek Tribal School/Bureau of Indian Affairs School Resource Officer
School Resource Officer Andrew S. Lepkowski is an enrolled member of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe. He attended the basic police officer training program (16 weeks) at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Artesia, NM. He graduated from the Indian Police Academy in April of 2009. He has been in Law Enforcement since November of 2007.
SRO Lepkowski is a D.A.R.E. Instructor and has also been to numerous SRO trainings provided by National Association of School Resource Officers. SRO Lepkowski is the first School Resource Officer (Police Officer) that the Bureau of Indian Affairs Office of Justice Services that has been designated to be at the Crow Creek Tribal Schools. The Bureau of Indian Affairs designed the position in 2009.
The SRO is responsible for overall safety at the school, assisting with lockdowns and other disasters. The SRO also educates students in prevention of bullying, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention. The SRO is in charge of investigating any crime on school property and also assists with extracurricular activities at the school.

In an effort to make our schools safe we ask all parents/visitors to:
- Enter building through the designated front door
- Sign in at the office or front desk
- Obtain a visitor pass
- Park in lots & avoid leaving vehicles in the fire lane
